"Star Wars - The Battle for Endor is a freeware game created by TrueVision 3D. For Star Wars fans who thought the battle going on out in space during Luke and Vader's last duel was too good to miss - this game puts you right in the middle of it and asks players to do practically the impossible. Han Solo gets the cushy job (taking down the shield generator) while you and the rest of the Rebel fleet are forced to fight the entire Imperial Fleet in a desperate bid to keep yourselves alive long enough to get Lando and his boys into attack position.
Prepare to fight 3 Star Destroyers and have to down 200 fighters or more in order to stay alive (all from the cockpit of an X-wing). In the end it will be you and the Imperial Super Star Destroyer in a fight to the finish. This game is great in it's complexity and it's replayability. The graphics are just like the original X-wing/Tie fighter series of computer games that were released in the 90's by Lucas Arts."
